Pippalily Baby Sling Review

Pippalily makes beautiful slings from high quality fabrics. They have a great instructions section including videos on how to use their slings and demonstrate several positions. They go through lots of tips on making sure you have the right fit and also include safety tips.
They use an acronym to help you remember a few important safety tips to remember whenever you are baby wearing – T.I.C.K.S. This stands for: Tight, In view at all times, Close enough to kiss, Keep chin off the chest, supported back. They have a useful sizing guide to help you pick the right size.

I was able to review their Sea Green Coriander Sling. The sling is beautiful! I was even able to use it while 9 months pregnant to carry my 22 month old because I couldn’t wait to try it out! The sling actually fit and I could carry my son in the hip carry position just fine!

It actually worked really well, though I didn’t carry him very long because he is at the age where he wants to be on the move non-stop! I have also been able to use it with my newborn. He likes being carried around and it is a great way to be able to get things done while the baby would otherwise be fussy as he loves the motion of moving as well as being close to mom.

I liked the sling okay with my newborn. I don’t think I really love the laying down position but I look forward to using the other positions with my youngest as he gets older. I really liked the hip carry that I tried with my 22 month old. I’m really interested in trying the front carry also!

Pippalily also carries toy straps, swaddlers, diaper clutches and minky blankets.
