I know when I’m under the weather, I just want to stay at home and enjoy the comforts of my own home; however, sometimes medical attention is needed in order to provide a full recovery. Thankfully, MeMD allows you to save time and money by seeking medical attention from the comfort of your own home via telephone and webcam.

About a week ago, my little one-year-old son came down with a cold. When my son started pulling on his ears, crying and abnormal amount, and not sleeping, I decided to seek medical advice from MeMD. I can sum up my MeMD experience in four simple words: easy, affordable, helpful, and convenient. My whole appointment took less than fifteen minutes and my son has already started feeling better.

I started my MeMD experience by logging onto www.memd.com and filling out my son’s brief health history. After listing his chief complaint, I was told that a Physician would be in contact within minutes. Five minutes later, I received a phone call from a board certified Physician. I told him about my son’s cold and that he was acting extra fussy while tugging on his ears. He asked me a list of questions and then came to the conclusion that my son was experiencing an upper respiratory infection. The Physician advised me to use children’s Tylenol or Motrin, elevate the head of his crib with a wedge, use a humidifier, and bulb suction before eating and bed. I felt the Physician was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, explained the physiology of my son’s sickness, and had great recommendations. I give my over-all experience with MeMD two thumbs up and can’t wait to continue to use MeMD.
