Easy Nutty S’mores Cone

Nutty S'mores Cone

This recipe was created by George Duran for Santé Nuts (and slightly adjusted for our own preferences).

Ingredients:

  • Waffle cones
  • Mini-chocolate chips
  • Mini-marshmallows
  • Diced fruit (like pineapple, strawberries, grapes and kiwi)
  • Santé Nuts, any variety, chopped
  • Any other fun toppings you’d like to include, like crushed cookies, coconut, graham cracker crumbs, sprinkles, etc.

Sante Smores Cone 08384 Start by gathering all of your different toppings and set up a display to let everyone scoop and add their own pick of toppings. Let your guests fill up their own waffle cones with the toppings of their choosing. Loosely wrap the filled waffle cones with aluminum foil and place them on their side on a baking dish. Sante Smores Cone 08387 Bake in the oven for 2-3 minutes at 275° F. You can also cook near a campfire or on a grill if outdoors. Allow the aluminum foil to cool and then serve and enjoy! My cone turned out SO yummy! It was just the right blend of sweet, salty, rich, and delicious! The chocolate chips and marshmallows weren’t quite melted, they could they could have used another minute or two, but it still tasted really great. It was so fun to create our own cones and even my kids got in on the action picking their own favorite toppings.   National S’mores Day is coming up on August 10th! This fun and easy recipe is the perfect recipe to recreate, no matter where you’ll be. Sante Smores Cone 08415   Santé Nuts make candied and spiced varieties of nuts that give you a whole new taste and flair on nuts! Whether you’re a nut fan, or typically don’t love nuts, you’ll really love these as they are sweet and delicious! We tried three different varieties and I was surprised by how much I really loved all three types of nuts. I found myself going back and grabbing handfuls. I like nuts, but I don’t typically grab a handful and just munch on them, but I totally found myself doing just that with Santé Nuts. Santé Nuts are roasted with a special method to add just a minimal absorption of oil into the nuts during the process. This means you’ll find a healthier nut with a delicious blend of sweet and spice and a crispy crunch! They have 9 different flavors to pick from.

What toppings would you add to your Nutty S’mores Cone?
