The Gift of Sleep With Pampers

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Pampers. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

I was recently asked the question, “As a mother, what has been one of the biggest adjustments you have made?”

As I thought for a moment, the word “sleep” came to mind. I knew that having a baby would make me tired, I didn’t know JUST how tired. As a newborn, my son wouldn’t sleep more than an hour at a time; he would then stay awake for hours between his cat naps.

I remember visiting the doctor at his one week check up and the Dr. asked “So, how many hours is your son sleeping? 18? 20?” My husband and I looked at each other with our tired and glazed eyes and answered “18-20? Our kid is sleeping like 5 hours total in a day.” As a new mother, I would have loved receiving the gift of sleep.

collage Pampers recognizes the importance of sleep for mothers and babies; that’s why Pampers designs their diapers to provide your little one with 12 hours of overnight protection. Pampers are now three times drier than the ordinary diaper. With three layers of comfortable protection, stretchy sides, and a snug fit, Pampers Diapers will guarantee a comfortable and dry night sleep for your baby; which in turn provides a soothing night’s rest for mom. With the help of Pampers,

I was able to create a care package to give the “gift of sleep” to my neighbor Lisa. Lisa is an amazing mother to five adorable kiddos all under the age of four: a four year old boy, three year old girl, twin two year old boys, and a five month old girl. When I arrived to Lisa’s home with her Pampers package at ten in the morning, Lisa informed me that because of her kids’ early morning, she had already done three load of laundry and prepared dinner. These pictures of Lisa and her family perfectly capture the essence of motherhood. Thanks to Pampers, Lisa and her family will hopefully receive some peaceful rest. lisa In Lisa’s package I included items to help entertain the kiddos (helping mom receive some rest), some pampering items for mom (promoting relaxation), and some food (giving mom a break from the kitchen): Pampers Swaddlers Diapers, Pampers Baby Dry Diapers, Pampers Wipes, lavender scented bubble bath and lotion, soothing lip balm, relaxation cream, plush pajamas, chocolate, and a party sized Stauffer’s Lasagna. Thanks Pampers!
