A Little About Me

My name is Janel and I recently fell in love with all the blog giveaways I have found on the internet. Being the type that LOVES to try new products I thought it’d be really fun to start a blog where I can try products and be able to host giveaways and hopefully make lots of winners who will get to try and enjoy new products also!

I am a mother of 2 and have one more on the way. My oldest is 3.5 and is already a bit of a computer nerd like me and my husband! He loves to play the learning games offered on websites like Starfall. If you haven’t ever been to this site and you have a preschooler or a child in the stages of learning to read you should really check it out! This site has really taught my son so much! He now is so interested in his ABC’s and is always telling me what words start with a certain letter and pointing out his ABC’s on signs as we drive. It’s so fun to watch him learn and I’m grateful for all the awesome resources available with the internet!

My 2nd son is 18 months and is always on the go! He loves to “go, go, go” as he would say! Running, Climbing, Jumping, Sliding, those are all right up his alley! He also LOVES dogs. He really likes all animals but especially dogs. He calls all animals “doggy!”

I am 18 weeks pregnant and really starting to show. I’m due September 5th and am planning to have another homebirth. I had a beautiful, wonderful birth with my 2nd at home and couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. My first was born at the hospital, induced and with an epidural so it couldn’t have been any further from my experience with my 2nd. There wasn’t anything “wrong” with my first birth experience I just didn’t feel like I was very involved. I never felt a single contraction and experienced quite a bit of pain in my back from the epidural months after he was born. We will find out in a couple weeks if we are having a boy or a girl so we are excited about that!
