Wondering where to invest your money and how to plan for the future? I’ve created a free Investment Plan worksheet to help you consider the various ways to invest your extra income each month. How to use this Investment Plan

This planning worksheet is geared to help you explore different investment types – both traditional and more abstract. Investing doesn’t always have to be an investment for your retirement years. One way to invest in your future is saving up for family vacations which brings very positive family returns. Browse the sheet and take your available income and start making your own personal plan for where your excess funds will go.

Whether it’s saving to pay for college or socking away to purchase a new vehicle – this plan can give you a guide to where to place your money each month. Seeing all the options laid out will help you decide how much to put where and open up new investment plan ideas you may want to start in the future. None of the options listed are financial advice, instead they are listed to inspire thinking and a conversation with your financial planner of where to best put your money.

  1. It is all about the little steps. You definitely need to start somewhere in regards to financial planning, and putting it into a visual form can definitely help make it a reality.

  2. This is a great project, great printable (thank you!), and very important to do. That said, it’s hard to do any kind of financial planning when you don’t pull in enough in a month for your basic needs. #sigh Makes looking at the future at all kind of hard sometimes.

  3. Financial planning is super important. As I have gotten older, I realize the importance more and more. Love this idea of staying organized.

  4. Love these worksheets, great way to stay on track and keep things in order.

  5. Oh I love this! What a great way to help keep track and being able to see whats you have put where. I do a monthly budget…but it does not include some of this! I will have to print off and use this too!
