I have recently made some pretty big changes in the way I eat and the food I prepare. I love junk food. Truly, eating is one of my favorite past times, but I had a mommy moment the other day when I realized that if I am not teaching my kids healthy habits, no one is.

I have a picky eater and a non-picky eater at my house. Both prefer junk food to anything else. I mean really, who is going to choose carrots over M&M’s? Not me! So I cleaned out our kitchen. The fact of the matter is, if there is no junk to eat, they can’t eat it, and they will eat what is there! Sure, at first it was an adjustment. What!? No crackers between lunch and dinner? Tears were shed. But a few weeks into it and my kids are fine without snacks, and they are eating more at meals.

My little girl’s favorite food is yogurt. She has it every morning with her breakfast. While this seems like a healthy habit, many yogurts have tons of sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial flavors. But not Stonyfield Organic Yogurt Pouches. These are the first refrigerated yogurt pouches that only contain pure organic ingredients.

They come in all different flavor combinations and have mixtures formulated for babies, toddlers, and kids. My little girl loves all of the flavors, but Mango is her favorite. You can see her here, sucking down a Strawberry Beet Raspberry. They are convenient and easy to use, and my kids love anything in a pouch or “Suck-a-Foods”, as we call them at our house.

I love how much my kids love these pouches and that I know exactly what is in them. They don;t have all the junk that some other products do. They are the perfect addition to any meal! Go ahead and visit their website and see where you can find their products near you, you wont regret establishing healthy habits with your kids, I promise.
