Sunday Brunch at The Grand America

I received a admission to Sunday Brunch in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.

We are currently in Salt Lake City, Utah celebrating our 7th anniversary. If you have ever been to Salt Lake you have probably noticed The Grand America Hotel. The beautiful hotel is Salt Lake City’s only AAA Five Diamond Hotel. We were lucky enough to spend our Sunday morning enjoying their famous Sunday Brunch.

Truly a favorite among locals and visitors, Sunday Brunch at The Grand America features cooking stations with freshly prepared, all-you-can-eat delicacies. Enjoy flavors from all over the world in one delicious experience. I was absolutely blown away by the selection of gourmet foods! I am ashamed to admit that I have never really participated in brunch of any kind so I was not sure what to expect.

I assumed we would have a variety or breakfast favorites, which we did, but I was surprised to find so many amazing savory lunch choices as well. We started off with a tour where we learned that the basic concepts of the buffets stay the same but the actual foods change on a regular basis. Everything is made from the freshest ingredients, the orange juice is literally squeezed right there!

We started off with some delicious breakfast items. Eggs cooked to order, ebelskivers with rum sauce, crepes, smoothies, bacon and sausage, fresh fruit and smoothies, They have everything! I am still dreaming of my crepe that was filled with bananas, Nutella, and whipped cream. We took small portions of everything so we could try more! Our waiter even brought eggs Benedict right to our table. Everything was perfect!

Then we moved on to the lunch side of brunch. With so much to choose from it was impossible to try everything, but we tried our best. Chicken florentine, prime rib, Salmon, mashed potatoes, breads, salads, the list goes on and on! My absolute favorite item was the lamb with mint, it was to die for! I could have spent all day eating from the seafood table as well. Crab legs, sushi, oysters, and shrimp! My husband is not a huge seafood fan but he even tried a little of everything!

Even though we had no room left, we had to swing by the dessert buffet as well. The Grand America bread pudding with rum sauce was the yummiest I have ever had! We sampled pastries and puddings, and cakes and tarts, they were the perfect way to end things on a sweet note!

We didn’t have our kids with us, but I was happy to see that Sunday Brunch is children friendly with the cutest kids buffet filled with all the best food for the little ones. My toddlers would have loved the pizza and homemade grape marshmallows!  Do’t be afraid to get down to their level though, the mac and cheese was amazing!
