Baby Genius Review

My 9 month old son is at the stage where he is really starting to enjoy watching movies and television shows. I am amazed at his focus and amusement as he views his favorite shows. However, I want to make sure that any time he spends in front of the television is beneficial for his cognitive development. Although I don’t believe in using the television as one’s only source of child education, I do believe that allowing your children to view certain shows (in moderation) can be beneficial teaching aids. One particular show that I feel provides valuable didactic training for my son is Baby Genius.

Baby Genius focuses on musical based toys and products that provide beneficial and educational entertainment for babies and young children. Many studies have proven the importance of music in a child’s mental development; research shows that music is linked to enhanced brain development through increased memory, coordination, motor skills, vocabulary and social skills. The fun music associated with each Baby Genius product will help your child enjoy learning and discovering new things every day.

My son adores watching Baby Genius‘ Favorite Nursery Rhymes. Alternating between animation and real life, Baby Genius’ fun music and bright colors capture his attention. Featuring nursery rhymes such as Row Row Row Your Boat; Apples And Bananas; Coming Around The Mountain; Baby Genius provides your children with over an hour of educational entertainment. Whether you choose to watch Favorite Nursery Rhymes in English or Spanish, your child will fall in love singing alongside Baby Genius’ cast of musical animals.

It’s safe to say that Baby Genius’ Favorite Nursery Rhymes is one of my son’s favorite movies. He laughs as he watches all of the animals associated with every song; it’s pretty stinkin’ cute. I love watching him dance as he grooves to the fun music. His favorite songs are BINGO and Old McDonald Had A Farm. Whenever these songs come on, a huge grin appears on his face and he starts flapping his arms with excitement. When we are on the go, I can still offer my son the music he loves by listening to Baby Genius’ Favorite Nursery Rhymes CD. As a mother, I am thrilled to be able to provide my son such quality educational entertainment. I feel that Baby Genius is extremely beneficial to my son’s cognitive development; plus he LOVES watching Baby Genius’ Favorite Nursery Rhymes.
