Shopping. I love shopping. But, I love shopping for my kids the most. It is so much fun to find little pieces that express their sweet personalities and seem to be made just for them! Every so often it is fun to find something luxurious for them!
Shan and Toad was born when one mother had three young girls and decided to turn her shopping hobby into a business! Based out of Jerusalem, Israel, Shan and Toad introduced a new glamorous style for children. Based on the belief that each child is unique, and inspiration should be drawn from the children themselves they take pride in finding unique pieces that are both classic and contemporary at the same time! My little lady is so much fun to shop for. She has such a unique and fun personality and she LOVES to get dressed. From the time she could walk, which was an early nine months old, she has been grabbing any article of clothing she could find and trying to wear it. She hates being restricted by fluffy dresses and needs to have the freedom to climb and be wild, but loves anything “Pretty” as she would say!
When I saw this Tie Dyed silk satin dress by Bakker Made with Love, it just screamed Leighton to me! I love the bright cheery color. The fabric is gorgeous and soft for her sweet toddler skin. The dress is loose and flowy for my active girl. Most importantly, when I pulled it out of the box she exclaimed, “Oh, pretty!!” I could not be more perfect for her! The other item I ordered for her is this super sweet Bambi Tee by Atsuyo Et Akiko. This shirt is a natural color and is made from 100% organic cotton. It is so, so soft and it looks adorable on her. I love the sweet black and white graphic with the pop of neon. It is perfect for Valentine’s day too! This shirt retails for $55 and you can find it here.
