How to Make Chicken Tacos

Chicken Tacos are one of the easiest weeknight meals you can prepare! We make tacos nearly weekly as they are so simple and are a healthy option that even the pickiest family members don’t complain about! Here’s how we make our chicken tacos.

Chicken Tacos Recipe

Dice up your fresh chicken breast or tenderloins into bite sized pieces. Add the chicken to a skillet and sprinkle with pepper. When the chicken is cooked almost all the way through, add taco seasoning as per package directions or make your own homemade taco seasoning mix. Be sure you add the water the packet calls for or even a bit extra as it will give you a bit of a taco sauce. Cook through and then reduce heat to low and let simmer until you are ready to serve.

How to make Chicken Tacos

Dice up a tomato and an onion. Prepare fresh cilantro and spinach as well by coarsely chopping it. Grate 1 cup of cheese. Warm flour tortillas on your stove top with a dry, clean skillet for 20-30 seconds per side. You’re now ready to enjoy! Just assemble your tacos adding in each family members preferences.
