Real or Artificial Christmas Tree?

Do you prefer to have real or artificial Christmas Trees in your home? For me, I always grew up with artificial trees and they worked well enough though they never really compared to the real trees my friends, extended family and neighbors would have. There’s just something about a real Christmas tree with the scent, feel, and all that adds to the holiday spirit. I know real Christmas trees can be messy, but so can an artificial tree. Living in Arizona we’ve stuck to an artificial tree for our home due to the heat here even through the winter time which makes keeping trees healthy looking more of a challenge. It has been a pain though to have to store an enormous box throughout the rest of the year. I know it’s truly not as beautiful, either, as having a real tree. However, it is what will have to do for now. If we ever move back up to the Northwest, though, you better believe I will be switching to a real Christmas tree!

I really like real Christmas trees, but I do not have a way to get one to my house every year! I have a really beautiful artificial tree that looks so nice in my house! I can put it together really easy without any help! I just can not wait to put up my tree!

I love real trees and thats what we have always had, but my daughter has allergies so we've had an artificial tree for 7 years now. Four years ago, we splurged (although a little less of a splurge because it was an after Christmas deal lol) on a huge artifical tree that actually looks real, everyone always comments how well our daughter is doing with a real tree in the house lol. Thankfully it has held up great and still looks as great as it did the first year!

We live on an old Christmas tree farm and my hubby loves a real tree. I prefer my silver tree because it is just so retro. plus there is no messy needles :)

We have been using an artificial tree for years due to the fact that there were a few years that we could not afford a real tree and had to go without. We get a real tree when we can.

I've always grown up with artificial trees as well. It just seems so much more practical!
