My husband and I made our nursery “Winnie the Pooh” themed before we ever had a kid and I think before we even knew what the gender was of our first. I wanted something that would be gender neutral so I wouldn’t have to ever change it if I didn’t want to! We did all the painting by hand and my husband did all the characters by just glancing at a book we referenced and then free hand drawing it!! I was so super impressed! He doesn’t draw really and I haven’t seen him draw anything since!

I apologize that my closet looks messy – it has all the storage tubs of baby clothes and then newborn clothes hanging and then in the cubbies are all the stuff like receiving blankets, bath stuff, diaper accessories, etc.

Eeyore, which is by far my favorite of the characters we drew, is hiding behind the glider. This room is the smallest one in the house and has a lot of furniture so it’s really hard to get pictures of it, but it really isn’t *as* crowded as it looks. And in case you are wondering my crib has NOT been recalled, even though it has a drop side.

Winnie the Pooh and my hutch shelf which I love! I sorted all the books by color and I LOVE the way it looks in the room!

And Tigger Too! Dresser/Changing Table.

And then on the ceiling we have clouds in different shapes and the tree goes up onto the ceiling. We also have our initials “carved” into the tree which you can kind of see in this picture.
So there you have it, there is my nursery! What is your nursery room’s theme? I love hearing about what people did in their nurseries!
Head over here to Tour my Boys Bedroom with a really cool space mural!

Your nursery is wonderful! I love all the hand-painted Pooh characters, clouds, tree, etc... Your husband is a very talented drawer! And I like the way you sorted the books by color. I do that with the clothes in my closet, but I've never seen it done with books like that--really looks cute.
