As a mom, I care about giving the very best to my children in every aspect of their lives. I want them to be healthy and enjoy rich full lives. It’s what we all want for our children, right? It’s because we care so much about our kids that even the little things matter, like what soaps to choose.
JOHNSON’S Baby made a commitment to listen to moms, so when moms started sharing their concerns about the safety of JOHNSON’S Baby products, they responded. JOHNSON’S shares that even though their products have always been safe, they took a stand anyways and changed the formula to give parents peace of mind.
The new formula removed formaldehyde-releasing preservatives and reduced traces of 1,4 dioxade from all of their baby products. They’ve also removed parabens from most of their products, ahead of their 2015 commitment date.
Their new formula and product lines are hitting the shelf and along with their release, they’ve introduced a touching video clip that shows how much JOHNSON’S Baby cares. Their “Our Promise” video shows their team of scientists and their families writing out their own promises and creating 1,000 paper origami cranes to create a stunning mobile. A Japanese legend says that folding 1,000 cranes will result in a wish granted and a promise fulfilled, so they used this symbolism paired with paper storks to represent their line of baby products and demonstrate their commitment to keeping their promises to parents.

I love this video clip and what it means for a brand to care about my children and what matters to me, too. The stork mobile they completed is a beautiful symbol to me of a thriving future generation that we are all going to take care of and cherish.

That’s very sweet. I’ve been using Johnson’s products since my son was born in the hospital. The hospital gave us a sample and we’ve used it every since.
