Elementary Kindergarten Graduation BIG DAY! #PCBigDay

My family celebrate a really Big Day, recently. My oldest graduated from Kindergarten! The past school year has been full of all sorts of ups and downs with sick days, new friends, exciting field trips, and tons and tons of learning growth. It has been absolutely amazing to watch my son grown over the school year and see him really become his own person instead of a young child like my other little boys still not old enough for school. It was so much fun to see him at his Kindergarten Graduation where his class performed a couple of fun songs and then were presented with a graduation certificate. As each child went through the arch and collected their certificate the teacher read off what each child said they would like to be when they grow up. My son’s reply…

Kindergarten Graduation

“When I grow up I want to be a worker at Disneyland”

We all loved his response and the crowd laughed at his unique reply! But the day wasn’t all fun and laughter, some tears were shed, too. I’ll admit I teared up watching the slideshow of pictures from throughout the year and remembering back on the days gone by. It’s truly amazing how quickly time flies. My son was really emotional, too. He loved going to school and told me he will really miss his teachers and want the same teachers again next year! You can see it on his face below, sad and teary eyed! It makes me smile to see how much he enjoyed the year and really loved his teachers who did a fabulous job with him this school year.

Aww, that's so cute! When my daughter was asked that question, she said she wanted to work at Dairy Queen. She LOVES ice-cream :) (Gianna)

What a cutie, and what a big milestone, time will fly faster than you can imagine the next thing you know they are graduating from high school and going to college.

I love the backdrop for the pictures. The certificate is great too. Too bad they did not have that for my children in the olden days.

He was so fortunate to have a teacher he learned from and enjoyed--We had the same problem or issue--but were so lucky that his teacher graduated a grade with him--lol-- so he did get her again-- working in the school I could see how much she loved them as much as My son loved her..Watching them grow into little people, and all the experience they get to grow and go throw has really been an adventure..With more to come--thanks for sharing
