One of our very most popular recipes is our 3-ingredient Peach Cobbler. It’s a tried and true favorite. Today, we’re sharing our easy Peach Pie recipe.

Easy Peach Pie

How to Make Peach Pie:

You’ll start with a premade crust. You can purchase a crust from the refrigerated section of the store or use your own favorite crust recipe.

Mix together melted butter, sugar, flour, egg, and nutmeg until well combined. Then, stir in with your peaches.

Now, just fill in your peach pie filling into your prepared pie crust. That’s it for the prep work — it couldn’t be easier!

Now, you’ll bake your peach pie for 65-70 minutes or until the filling has thickened, your peaches are nice and soft, and your crust is a golden brown.

FAQ’s About Making Peach Pie:

Q: Can I use canned peaches in Peach Pie?

A: Yes, you can substitute in canned peaches in a pinch. An even better option, though, if peaches aren’t in season is to purchase frozen sliced peaches. Thaw them overnight before using in your recipe.

If using canned peaches, look for peaches canned in water instead of syrup, whenever possible. You will need to strain your canned peaches before adding them into the recipe.

You will also shorten the overall cook time, since your peaches will already be soft. Start checking your pie at 45 mins.

Q: What’s the best crust for a peach pie?

A: I prefer a homemade flaky dough crust. You can also use a premade crust from the refrigerated section of your store.

Q: What should I serve with Peach Pie?

A: We love topping our peach pie with a dollop of whip cream. You could also serve vanilla ice cream as a side, if your pie is warm.

For main dishes, try serving peach pie with pork loin!
