DIY Aromatherapy Neck Pillow

Now that summer is in full swing, I itch to go on vacation and escape my daily stressors. However, with a husband in PA school (he graduates in August!!!) it’s hard to find time to get away. Because of this dilemma, I have to find ways to relax and “get away” in the comfort of my own home. One of my favorite every day “zen moments” includes soaking in a warm bubble bath while listening to soft music and placing my Aromatherapy Pillow around my neck. Simple moments like these melt the stress away and motivate me to be a better wife and mother. Best of all, this Aromatherapy Neck Pillow is super simple to make! Follow these five simple steps to create an Aromatherapy Neck Pillow of your very own.

DIY Aromatherapy Neck Pillow

DIY Aromatherapy Neck PillowMaterials Needed:
1 Sock
1 Bag of Rice (unseasoned)
Needle and thread
Lavender Oil
Dawn聽(for cleanup)

Instructions:
1. Fill Sock 2/3 full of dry rice.

2. Drop 10-15 drops of Lavender Oil into the rice.

3. Using a needle and thread sew the end of your sock shut. Be sure to use a color of thread that will blend in with the sock.

4. Warm neck pillow up by placing in the microwave for 30-45 seconds. Place on neck and/or shoulders for instant relief.

5. Cleanup time!

I LOVE simple DIY projects, such as this Aromatherapy Neck Pillow. However, I don’t love the mess that DIY projects often leave behind.聽Thankfully Dawn聽Escapes’ incredible grease-fighting formula and heavenly scent make cleanup time that much more relaxing and enjoyable.
