Cheap and Easy Ramen Recipe and Other Ramen Ideas

With 5 children and only one employed person in our house, sometimes budgeting leaves us a bit tight in the old finance department. 聽During those times, I turn to cheap menu ideas, including one of my kid’s favorite things to eat: Ramen. Ramen Noodles are super cheap and really easy to make. 聽There are many ways to serve Ramen, just give Pinterest a try and you will see the many options that this versatile noodle gives us. Here are a couple ideas that I found:

  • Ramen Coleslaw – updating a classic taste and giving it a bit of a crunch!
  • Ramen Stirfry – classic Asian flavors and vegetables, soft fluffy Ramen noodles.
  • Spicy and Sweet Ramen Noodle Snack Mix – Add broken un-cooked Ramen to a party mix.
  • Chocolate Covered Ramen – This one is my favorite. 聽Un-Cooked Ramen dipped in chocolate.

Cheesy Noodles Ramen Recipe

Ramen

My family’s favorite is what my kids call “Cheesy Noodles.” 聽It’s a quick and easy meal that feeds a crowd for a low price. 聽The most expensive thing is the hamburger. 聽In a pinch, we make it without the hamburger, and it’s still yummy.

  1. My favorite way to eat ramen is as a soup! My daughter loves it with just a little cheese melted on top.

  2. Wow this looks really good. I will have to try this recipe. My kids also love Ramen noodles. They love when I add an egg to the mix. It makes it like a stir fry noodle.

  3. Wow you’re really creative with ramen noodles. I usually just eat them in soup but sometimes put stir fry veggies over them instead of rice.

  4. I have never thought to try Ramen Noodles with my daughter. But now I think I’ll have to make them for her, she would probably love them! And if she loves them we will have to try this recipe too!
