Summer Fashion For Moms

It’s summer! Well, it’s been summer here is Arizona for weeks already, but now it is summer everywhere else in America too! As a mom, I am constantly on the lookout for clothes that look cute, but can also be functional while carrying around a toddler and loading kids into car seats! I stay at home with my kids, but I still want to look cute!

I am totally in love with this Faux Snakeskin Necklace. It is so versatile. I can wear it with a pencil skirt and fitted shirt with some heels, for a wedding or nicer date out with my husband, or I can pair it with a chambray shirt and skinny black pants like I did here for everyday wear or a casual date night. It is such a unique and fun way to add a little flair to an outfit. Statement necklaces are my absolute favorite item right now. There are so many choices out there, and they are so fun to add to your favorite outfits!
This Pleated ‘Gili’ Lavender Blouse is pretty, it is beautifully made and the texture of the fabric is gorgeous. However, it is not the most flattering top on me. I styled it tucked into a white pencil skirt and I rolled the long sleeves. It is definitely a dressier top that I would probably only pull out when I was headed to an event where I needed to be dressed up.
The third item is a lightweight Orange Tulip summer scarf. Scarves are my go to spring and fall accessory. They are so big this summer and I wish it wasn’t so stinking hot here all the time! But for everyone who lives in somewhere that actually cools down at night or is breezy during the day, they are a must have this summer season. I love to wear my scarfs with a t-shirt and shorts, they are great for days at the park or lunch dates with my kiddos!
