York Peppermint Bark Recipe
Have you ever made a chocolate bark? They are probably one of the easiest things to make, and they look really fun! This yummy York peppermint bark is great for your holiday treat plates to pass out to friends and neighbors or for serving at a party!
York Peppermint Bark
You’ll need:
- Milk Chocolate or Semi-sweet Chocolate chips
- York Peppermint patties
- Aluminum foil or parchment paper
- Flat baking sheet with edges
Start by lining your baking sheet with either aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Next, melt your chocolate chips. You can melt the chips in a double boiler or just pop them into a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until your chocolate is fully melted.
Pour your melted chocolate onto the baking sheet and smooth out the chocolate with a spatula, if needed. Immediately sprinkle on your toppings. In this case I just loosely cute up my peppermint patties and then sprinkled them on top.
I scooped up part of the melted chocolate and reserved it aside to drizzle lines back and forth across the bark, but that’s completely optional.

Next, put your chocolate bark into the fridge and allow to cool for an hour. When your chocolate has hardened, break up your bark into small pieces and serve! Keep in mind, as it’s just a layer of chocolate it will melt again easily if kept out somewhere warm. I like to store my bark in the fridge as it’s warm here in Arizona year round.
Oh my goodness, I love York peppermint patties and bark, great combination! Thanks for linkup up at the Project Parade Linky Party.
