Picking Up the Pieces with Bissell Power Sweep Turbo -Review

My home is never truly clean.  With 5 children, I really feel that I’m always cleaning up crazy spills, strange stains and unknown sticky patches.  I have a brief moment after I have cleaned the house, that I look around and admire my hard work before my children come in and leave a disaster.

One afternoon last week, I felt like running away from home.  My 3 1/2 year old left the water running in the bathtub, flooding my bathroom.  She then proceeded to dump a tub of butter on the floor that the 6 year old had left out after eating 4 pieces of toast.  The crusts of the toast were all over the kitchen counter.  My 11 year old had set up all her dolls all over the kitchen table, and my son decided that laundry needed to be dumped in the middle of the playroom, instead of the laundry room.  I just felt overwhelmed.

Since I really deal with daily disasters, I am always looking for helpful tools to use around the house.  I need a little help dealing with the mess.

BissellBissell Power Sweep Turbo Cordless Sweeper has been a huge help around my crazy home. The Power Sweep Turbo is a rechargeable cordless brush that is an easy way to pick up dry messes and the daily dirt that finds it way into your home.  With a charge that lasts 60 minutes, you can get even the corners swept up and not worry about it running out of battery.  It has a easy to empty top loading dirt container and is safe on your carpet, hardwood and tile floors.

The Bissell Power Sweep Turbo Cordless Sweeper in my favorite thing to help me with the daily cleaning.  It’s super light and easy to push around, so my children can use it in their daily chores.  The Power Sweep picks up just about anything.

Here’s a list of the some of the things we were surprised it could pick up:

  • Legos
  • Toy soldiers
  • Ants (yes my girls decided to take out the line of ants the humane way)
  • Baby Puffs snacks
  • Rice
  • Cornmeal (apparently they really wanted to know what was in the box)
  • Barbie clothes
  • Sequins

I love the Bissell Power Sweep Turbo so very much, and if you want to try one yourself here’s your chance.  Bissell is offering a $5 off coupon for the Power Sweep until the end of the year! Just use the coupon code “sweepupLEGO” at Bissell.com.

I received a Bissell Power Sweep Turbo in exchange for this post. The opinions expressed above are my own. Any claims should be verified on the sponsor’s site.

wish i could teach my dogs to use this, my home is never clean either, w/ 3 dogs, living in the country, and i hate house cleaning, rather be shoveling stalls....my dogs hate the vac cleaner, brooms, dish washer, etc.

Now that I'm so far in my pregnancy vacuuming is dreadful since ours is so bulky and I'm so petite. I would definitely request one for Christmas. :) I too suffer from Lego syndrome.

I had a Shark brand vacuum like this. I still like a regular vacuum, but this is so much more manageable.
