Stay Organized With Baby

When I first became a mom I was so organized. Before my baby was born I had everything in its specific place and everything looked perfect. Our world has never been the same since that sweet baby boy finally made his appearance, and in the best ways.

We smile more, we laugh more, we love more. But, boy oh boy did his stuff quickly take over our house! In the four years since he made his grand entrance his two little sisters have come into our family as well. I adore all three of my kiddos and I have learned a thing or two about what works for our family and corralling their stuff.

I received samples and compensation for this post. All ideas and opinions are my own.

When I first had my baby I had a little basket tote that sat in the corner of the living room. It held diapers, wipes, and rash cream. It was cute, and it was all put away, but I was refilling it constantly. Babies blow through diapers, pun intended.

Just having a small stack was not working for me. When my second baby was born, not only was it not enough diapers, but my one year old would have that basket unloaded and thrown about the room before breakfast was even finished. We switched to the diaper drawer.

We took a drawer from our entertainment center and cleaned it out. We started keeping diapers and wipes in there so they were off the floor, but still accessible. Once we found that this solution was really going to work for us, I hit Ikea and grabbed some drawer dividers. Here is how I organize my baby drawer:

I have a large divider for diapers. It holds a full large package of diapers, I refill it when I buy new ones and it stays full for about 5 days.

Next to that if a full sized box of wipes.

I have a spot for swaddle blankets- I put those straight in the drawer from the dryer. Does anyone else have kids obsessed with these things? I mean not their babies? My toddlers turn them into ropes and forts and baby wraps, I have to hide them!

I have a divider box for lotions and creams. I also keep my thermometer and nail trimmers in there. The other box holds drool bibs and burp cloths.

The last box is for miscellaneous baby stuff that I always find on the floor of my living room. I stick it all in there as I tidy up, and clean it out at the end of each week. It is usually full of shoes and headbands.

But speaking of diapers, did you know that Pampers Swaddlers are all new? They are! And they are #1 choice in U.S. Hospitals. They are the softest diapers ever. My little lady was skeptical at first, but it is safe to say she loves them and feels comfortable moving around in them!

Their new Blankie Soft exterior makes them comfortable for her and provides excellent protection against leaks. I love that since she has been wearing them we have not had a single blowout! Yay for less laundry and look at that smile!

I like that it has a wetness indicator in the front, how useful!

I love how soft they are, some other diapers are so stiff!

I like that these are less bulky---letting babies move better

I think it's great that they don't bulge like some other diapers do.
