Back to School Essentials: Fruit of the Loom Bonus Packs

My oldest started 1st grade this year and my second is now in Preschool at our local school. It’s crazy to have two of my kids off to school already! My four year old was SO excited to head to Wal-Mart with me and shop for school supplies. Since everything is so new to him, he’s been extremely excited for all the activities leading up to school like picking out new outfits, stocking up on underwear, getting his own backpack, meeting his teacher and starting school.

My three younger boys and I headed off to Wal-Mart to prepare for back to school. My oldest doesn’t like to shop so he stayed home with dad. We started with stocking up on school supplies for 1st grade, preschool, and for the projects we do at home, too, since there’s no better time to buy supplies than while everything is on sale! Then, we headed over to the boys clothing section. We were drawn right to the two large Fruit of the Loom displays with bonus packs available while we shopped.

We picked out underwear for all three boys that are in them. My 2 year old picked out Despicable Me pairs that were so cute! They characters packs had one bonus pair giving you 6 for the price of 5 pairs. Then, we got the bonus assorted packs for both of the boys heading back to school. I love boxer briefs, they are my favorite! They cover so well and always look the most comfortable. My son thought the included camo prints were fun, too! I loved that I got 3 free pairs giving me a total of eight briefs per pack!

After we were set in the underwear department, we picked up some nice polo tops. They were a great price and while a uniform isn’t required for preschool, I love the idea of having a set pile of clothes ready for school rather than just the goofy character t-shirts (or costumes!) my son usually likes to wear.

When we got home from shopping, we loaded up his backpack to have all both boys school supplies ready to go for the first day of school and stashed away their underwear in their dressers.
