FoundIt is a company that makes it easy for people to return your lost items while keeping your family’s identity safe and alleviating the replacement (and emotional) cost. It is a basic lost and found that connects the Finder and the Owner instantly! It works great for anything that’s easily lost but hard to replace, like phones, and laptops, keys and cameras, jackets and tennis rackets. FoundIt uses stickers with your special FoundIt ID to put on your items, so when it is found the finder can easily text or input the ID on the website.
FoundIt’s research shows that children are more likely to lose something when their routine is changed, and we all know that back-to-school is just around the corner. FoundIt helps give parents and kids the peace of mind that if they lose that new computer, backpack, lunchbox, or sports bag, they have a MUCH better chance of getting it back.
What an awesome idea! This is one of those ideas that I wish I would have thought of myself! I lose things ALL the time and have found that my faith in humanity has not let me down! Almost every time I have left a credit card, phone, purse somewhere I have gone back or called and someone has turned it in. With FoundIt, I would save hours of time trying to figure out where I left the item, and just be able to go pick it up! I already have it on all my credit cards (that is my downfall) and even my sunglasses. With the credit cards, it would still be smart to get a new card but at least you would be able to get it back instead of always wondering what happened. The website is very simple too. Even the most novice computer user could figure out what to do if they found something with the sticker/tag. Overall, great product, great idea, great website!
