Homemade Taco Seasoning Recipe

Our own seasoning combination for Tacos!
Author:
Cuisine: Mexican
Ingredients:
  • 2 Tbls of each: pepper, salt, paprika, lemon pepper, hot chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder
  • 1 Tbls of Onion Powder
  • Beef Bullion Cube
  • Lime (for Chicken Tacos)
Directions:
  1. Combine all your spices together in a mortar and pestle if any of your spices need to be ground. Grind and mix your ingredients until well blended.
  2. If you don't have hot chili powder, you can substitute regular chili powder but you'll need additional spice which can be added with crushed red pepper.
  3. Add seasoning to your ground beef to taste. We generally use 3 spoonfuls for two pounds of ground hamburger meat. If cooking with chicken, squeeze one lime into your frying pan while mixing in your seasoning blend. The chicken with lime and seasoning combo is our personal favorite for really flavorful and delicious tacos!
