We received a copy of Disney Universe for the Wii to review! This game is filled with puzzles and action packed adventure levels. We had a great time playing through familiar scenes and backgrounds collecting random power-ups and trying to out-compete each other! The costumes in the game are so funny and it’s fun to pick a Disney character to play as from one of 40 costumes (once unlocked). The game includes hints throughout with arrows directing you toward the next steps. These can also be disabled, though. This makes it great for kids to be able to play and enjoy the game or for adults and more challenging puzzle mode without the hints! We’ve only barely scratched the surface of this game so you’ll definitely get lots of playing time and the game is easy enough to pick up that it can be played as a group game, even without trying to play the game all the way through. We also really liked the mini games and challenges that would randomly be presented throughout the levels which were really fun!
Disney Universe is available for the Wii, PS3, and XBOX 360. It can be purchased through popular retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Toys R Us, Target, and others! Disney Universe retails for $49.99.
