Decorate Easter Eggs with Tattoos

I’ve been dying and trying different ways to decorate Easter Eggs for the past 8 years with my boys. Every year, we like to try something a bit different to keep it interesting. This year, we got to try something totally different – giving our Easter Eggs tattoos! What’s so fun about decorating Easter Eggs is you can make your eggs completely express your own personality and interests!

I received compensation for this post. All opinions are my own.聽

Decorate Easter Eggs with Temporary Tattoos

Start with dying your eggs or leave them white. You’ll want to only use the tattoos on dry eggs, so you’ll need to wait until your eggs are fully dry before you start to apply the tattoos if you decide to use dye first.

Pick out the images you’d like from the temporary tattoos sheet and聽cut out the ones you want to use. Peel off the plastic protective sheet and then press them onto the eggs print side facing your egg. Hold a wet wash cloth to the eggs for 30 seconds and then carefully pull back the edge of the tattoos to make sure they are all the way applied.

  5. My daughter had a few surgeries last year and we were looking for things to keep her busy while she was stuck in the bed. My cousin actually found a bunch of pictures that are numbered to indicate little colored stickers to create the picture. We ended up with so many gems, colored stickers that are different shapes, and even glitter stickers. We decided to use these on our Easter eggs this year, along with finger paints. Needless to say, this got a little bit CRAZY! My little one had a blast! I think the Easter Bunny will be proud. Hehe Happy Easter All! 馃檪

  13. I’m going to mix different colors of dye in a bowl to make bright and prettier colored eggs. I found it on Pinterest. Before I put the eggs in the colors I’m going to put round and long stips of stickers around the egg so that part will stay white then put a sticker on it to cover the white part.Thank you for the chance 馃檪

  29. Sometimes I can convince the kids to do half the egg in one color and flip to do the other in a different color. But, they’re creatures of habit and just plop them in the dye cup.

  30. I love these decorative egg tattoos. Our usual routine is simply dying them and applying stickers. These are much prettier!

  38. My girls use whatever comes with the kit and then their own art supplies. They’ve come up with some really cute designs. Thank you!
