A Mom’s Take was started on April 1st, 2010 (No Joke!). The website’s goal was to make a place to find great gift ideas and information on new and exciting products with honest and well thought out reviews. Having previously been one to enter blog giveaways I worked hard to find great companies that welcomed reviews as well as giveaways to share the excitement of new products with my readers! Having grown up in a home with a computer programmer I have always been very into technology and computers. Blogging was right up my alley, but I have to confess my VERY favorite part is playing around and creating my design! I love to digital scrapbook, play specialty board games, garden, visit theme parks, and travel! My husband and I met on a Caribbean cruise and he eventually chased me across the country to date me! We have been married since 2005 and have 3 beautiful little boys age 5 and under. I love being a stay-at-home / work-at-home mother. I find blogging a great way to keep active and social while still being able to be home with my children!
Ashleigh
As a mother of 5 children ages 3 to 13, Ashleigh keeps very busy! She loves to keep active and enjoys participating in volleyball, bunko, card club, playdates, book club, playing and teaching piano, cooking, and ALL things GLEE! She has been on Price is Right, Judge Judy, Whose Line is it Anyways, and even a Winger’s commercial! She was thrilled to join my review team as she thinks it is the “Coolest job in the world” and has always loved trying new things! Ashleigh would love to learn how to play the guitar again and catch up on her scrapbooks.
Brooke
Brooke is the mother of three little girls ages 4, 2, and 3 months old! Her and her family enjoy traveling, being outdoors, and playing games. She loves to make cards, read, and play volleyball. Brooke has a bachelor’s degree from BYU in Marketing/Advertising. She has written for her own personal family blog for the past 4 years and was excited to join my review team to meet other moms and learn about great new products!
