Kobo Touch e-Reader Review

I love to read but I feel like there are always 100 different reasons and excuses that keep me from actually taking the time to sit down and read. Usually the reason is that I don’t want to get sucked into the book and not be able to function for a few days until I can finally finish and put it down. Because really, that is what usually happens once I start a really good book. But having an e-Reader on hand makes it so much easier to drop the excuses and find the love of reading again.

Kobo Reader Review

I received a Kobo Touch to review. It is very slim and lightweight so it fits in my purse and I take it along with me for doctor’s appointments, waiting for kids in their activities, or even when my husband is driving us somewhere sometimes I’ll pull it out and read a few chapters while we drive. The screen is so easy on my eyes I love that it uses the Pearl E Ink touchscreen so there is no harsh light or glare and I can even really easily see the screen in the brightest light of the day. These pictures show how easy the screen is to read in full sunlight:

Since you can touch the screen to navigate for finding a book, flipping the page, zooming in and navigation and more it becomes really natural and easy to use. Plus, you can store up to 1,000 eBooks all on the built in internal memory or upgrade with the expansion slot for 30x as many books!

Kobo Reader Review

I was really impressed with how long the battery lasts which is really convenient since I often have it on the go with me. A single charge can last up to a month depending on usage. One really fun aspect that gives you a way to challenge yourself and your reading with Kobo Reading Life Rewards! I already earned a couple of rewards including the “Not an Open Book” award for finishing my first book on the Kobo e-reader! It can also show you cool facts about your reading habits over time such as when your peak reading hours are and how many hours you’ve read.

Kobo Touch e-Reader Review

The Kobo Touch e-reader presents you with such a clean, easy to navigate layout, it is loaded with features, and pleasantly ad-free device that makes it an awesome device!  A Kobo Touch would make a perfect Father’s Day gift this year! It is on sale for $99.99 (a $40 savings!) and comes in your choice of five great colors to choose from.

I received product samples and/or compensation in exchange for this post. The opinions expressed above are my own. Any claims should be verified on the sponsor’s site. Topic: Kobo Touch e-reader, kobo ereader

I'm impressed with the battery life, the number of books you can put on one...not to mention the expansion capabilities AND the fact that it is so affordable.
