Italian Chicken Sliders
Ingredients:
- 2.5 pound bag of frozen chicken tenderloins
- 1 bottle Italian dressing (I use Olive Garden)
- 1 large package pepperoni
- 1 large package sliced provolone
- Spicy mustard
- 1 large jar yellow peppers
- 2 dozen dinner rolls
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon dried chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
Throw the chicken and Italian salad dressing in the slow cooker. Cook on Low for 8 hours or high for 4. Shred with a fork. (On a side note, this chicken is amazing on salads or served over noodles or rice!)
Slice rolls through the middle so you have a solid top and bottom, lay in 13×9 pan. Or 2 depending on the size of your rolls.
Layer chicken, pepperoni, cheese and peppers onto the bottom layer of rolls. Spread spicy mustard on the top rolls. Replace the top.
Melt butter and mix in seasonings. Pour melted butter sauce over the top of the rolls.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Remove foil and cook for 5 more minutes.
So yummy, enjoy!
