BreakPal – Fitness at your desk is an online workout program for people who are stuck at a desk all day with little time to exercise. Here’s how it works: Every 30 minutes (or whatever time interval you set it to go off at) BreakPal will pop up on your computer screen and remind you to exercise. The program then directs you to a video with an exercise of your choice. Exercises vary from simple stretches to martial arts, aerobics, yoga, Tai Chi, Chi kung and soon all kinds of crazy stuff like belly dancing and Salsa dance. New exercises are added on a continual basis to keep things interesting. No boring office stretches here.
BreakPal is a great way to get your bum off your seat throughout a long day of work, school, or whatever you may be doing that requires sitting for an extended amount of time. There is a wide range of exercises and each are only 2-5 minutes long and therefore totally doable. I tried out the lightning bolt yoga and cardio kung fu. It is a great idea to help busy people stay on track with their health.
