Music lovers everywhere will appreciate a unique music collaboration that happened recently when the world renowned DJ Steve Aoki held a performance that included a surprise apperance of legendary pop superstars Duran Duran. Together, they produced a remix of Duran Duran’s classic hit Hungry Like a Wolf mixing in the electronic dance music that DJ Steve Aoki is known for. The son aptly became known as, “Hungry Like The Wolf: Steve Aoki vs. Duran Duran – The New York Werewolf Mix”. Check it the live performance here:
It’s always so neat to see music collaborations come together and mix genres to create new styles and a introduce something just a bit different than what you may be used to from your favorite station! Alternatively, you can find some awesome mixes that combine two powerhouses from the same genre that create a song that is unforgettable. Some music collaborations I’ve really enjoyed are:
1. Anything with Tim McGraw & Faith Hill together, but especially – “I Need You”
2. Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss singing “Whiskey Lullaby”
3. Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow together for “Picture”
4. Eminem’s collaboration with Aerosmith in “Sing For The Moment”.
