Academy Award®-winning Best Animated Feature “Finding Nemo” returns to the big screen for the first time ever in thrilling Disney Digital 3D™.  In this stunning underwater adventure, with memorable characters, humor and heartfelt emotion, “Finding Nemo” follows the comedic and momentous journey of an overly protective clownfish named Marlin (voice by Albert Brooks) and his son Nemo (voice by Alexander Gould) — who become separated in the Great Barrier Reef when Nemo is unexpectedly taken far from his ocean home and dumped into a fish tank in a dentist’s office. Buoyed by the companionship of Dory (voice by Ellen DeGeneres), a friendly-but-forgetful Pacific regal blue tang, Marlin embarks on a dangerous trek and finds himself the unlikely hero of an epic effort to rescue his son — who hatches a few daring plans of his own to return safely home.

I will never forget the first time I saw Finding Nemo.  I only had two kids at the time and we went as a family.  I was completely mesmerized by the characters, story line, and beautiful underwater scenery.  Seeing Finding Nemo in 3D was even better than the first time!  The 3D aspect made you feel link you were actually in the ocean with Nemo and his friends!  It was fun taking my 3-year-old to see it in the theater after watching it with him several times at home.  He actually kept the glasses on for the whole movie!  Probably because they were super cute, orange Nemo glasses!  I had forgotten how hilarious this movie was!  My son and I were cracking up the whole time!  It was almost like watching it for the first time all over again.  It was charming, funny and one my favorite Disney movies of all time.

Finding Nemo 3D is in theaters now and is 1 hour and 40 minutes long.  It is rated G and would be great for the whole family!

About Ashleigh

Ashleigh is a mom of five children ages 4-14. She loves to keep active by running, playing volleyball, P90X and chasing her kids around! She also enjoys Bunko, playing and teaching piano, cooking, ping-pong, getting packages, watching Netflix, and trying out new stuff! She loves being a mom and sometimes feels like a 12-year-old kid when she gets to try out new toys and games with her kiddos :)

I loved the original Finding Nemo and look forward to seeing the 3D version. So many of the 3D movies don’t have very many 3D elements but I know Finding Nemo will be well worth the extra cost for 3D. Thanks for the review!

We just took our 4yr old to see Nemo. He’s watched the dvd more times than I can count, but he was spell bound by the big screen and the 3D. It was so much fun to take him to this movie.

I can remember seeing this movie at home on tv and loved it. I can only image what’s it’s like on 3D. I would love to take my grandson to see it at the theater. He would just love it and so would I.
