Wertely the Durkle Finds a Friend, by Dori Gehling, is absolutely adorable. I love the cute rhymes used to tell the story. Wertely is a cute little guy who meets someone through a mishap and they become the very best of friends. I like the lessons it teaches, too. The illustrations are cute and fun. Although some of the story is beyond my 1-year-old’s comprehension right now, he still loved the book and will only grow into more as the years go by! If you’re looking for a cute new children’s book to read to your kids, go grab yourself a copy of Wertely the Durkle Finds a Friend – it’s cute and sweet!
