Believe it or not, this is the first VeggieTales movie I have ever seen! So many different people have told me how great VeggieTales are, but I just hadn’t got around to getting one of their DVDs, until now! I had no idea what I was missing out on! VeggieTales is really one of the cutest and most uplifting kid’s shows I have ever seen! Plus, the music is fantastic! My kids all loved The Penniless Princess and it was the perfect opportunity to talk to them about being grateful for what we have and to not always look for something better. It was also a great lesson for me since I struggle with never being satisfied. Besides the great lesson in each show, VeggieTales is also wholesome. Most of the shows my kids watch on tv, even the cartoons, have at least some form of name calling, inappropriate comments, or fighting. VeggieTales didn’t have one single thing that was even remotely bad! This was an all around great DVD for the whole family!
