Grindz in a brand new, innovative product designed by BMX Pro, Kevin Robinson. If you have a hard time getting your child to wear protective gear while they are biking or skating, Grindz is the solution! Instead of wearing bulky, unattractive pads on the outside of your clothes, Grindz has protective padding on the inside of their pants. Whether you toddler is just learning to ride a bike, or you have a teenager who spends the majority of their free time at a skate park, Grindz will give you piece of mind knowing they are protected. These denim jeans & chinos have durable padding built into the tailbon, hipbone, and knee areas. They also have an adjustable waist for the youth styles and are safe in the washer and dryer. Grindz will make sure your children are protected and looking great at the same time!
My 8-year-old cares more about being “cool” than anything in the world! He spends 20 minutes on his hair each morning, takes forever picking out his clothes, and checks himself out in the mirror at least five times before walking out the door! Needless to say, he hates wearing pads when he is skating or riding his bike because it doesn’t “look cool”. When I showed him the Gindz, and all the pictures of the guys wearing them, he really wanted to try them out! He picked the black denim slim fit pair. From the pictures, they don’t look any different from a regular pair of jeans, but I was worried they might be more bulky when he actually tried them on. I was totally wrong! They didn’t look any bigger, or more bulky than his other slim fit jeans. He absolutely loves them too! It is 110 degrees outside, and he still wears them while he’s skating, and then keeps them on for the rest of the day. He also tells anyone that will listen about his Grindz! He is pretty much a walking advertisement! My 3-year-old was also able to try them out. He really looks up to his big brother and was excited to have matching pants. He is just learning to ride a bike, so these came at the perfect time! I would recommend Grindz to any parent with kids who love skating and biking, but don’t love bulky pads on the outside of their clothing!
Grindz can be purchased at XSportsProtective.com, Sidewall Action Sports, and Woodward. They come in adult and youth sizes. The youth Grindz retails for $59.99 a pair.
