Virtual Piggy Review

Virtual Piggy is a fantastic way to keep track of your child’s online purchases.  If you haven’t allowed your child to purchase online before because you are hesitant about giving your child your credit card information or worried they will spend too much, this is the perfect solution! On Virtual Piggy, you can set a limit, or allowance, for your child and once they reach their maximum spending amount it will stop them from being able to purchase anything else.  Also, when you add your credit card, the number stays hidden and secure.  Virtual Piggy has partnered with several kid friendly sites like K’NEX, Kidlandia, and Wild Creations so your child will always be able to find a great quality product that can be delivered to your front door!  The best thing about Virtual Piggy is the price…free!

Virtual Piggy was the perfect solution for my eight-year-old who has a very hard time managing his allowance!  Every time he earns even one dollar, he begs to go to the store to buy something.  This website allows him to see his money accumulate and pick something bigger. He also thinks its really fun to be able to checkout by himself instead of having to ask me for my credit card information.  We were able to use virtual piggy bank to get the K’NEX Mario & Yoshi Vs Stone Bowser.  The process was simple and easy enough for any child to figure out. This is a great way to give your child a little more freedom and responsibility without worrying about having your credit card maxed out!  I would recommend Virtual Piggy to anyone with children old enough to use a computer!

Virtual Piggy is a free website that allows your child to safely make purchases online from select retailers.

Disclosure: I received K’NEX Mario & Yoshi vs. Bowser in exchange for my honest review. I was not compensated in any other manner. The opinions expressed above are my own and any claims should be verified on the sponsor’s site.

About Ashleigh

Ashleigh is a mom of five children ages 4-14. She loves to keep active by running, playing volleyball, P90X and chasing her kids around! She also enjoys Bunko, playing and teaching piano, cooking, ping-pong, getting packages, watching Netflix, and trying out new stuff! She loves being a mom and sometimes feels like a 12-year-old kid when she gets to try out new toys and games with her kiddos :)

When I first heard of this I thought it would be great for teenagers, but after reading your review I see how it can work for younger kids too.
