I was thrilled to be able to try out the HYDRATE Shampoo and Conditioner! My hair is extremely dry, especially after swimming three times and week and using a hair straightener. Not to mention I live in one of the driest states in the country! I decided to try this out after being in the pool for four hours and letting my hair air dry. It was a hot mess…literally! But it was also the perfect opportunity to try out the HYDRATE products. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It was delicious! I hate washing my hair with any shampoo that doesn’t smell good, it makes the entire experience horrible! I also noticed that I didn’t have to use a ton to lather all of my hair. My hair is pretty thick and long so this was a huge plus for me! After washing out the shampoo it seemed like my hair was already a lot smoother than when I started. Usually that doesn’t happen until after the conditioner. When I did add the conditioner, it smelled just as great as the shampoo and, once again, I didn’t have to use a lot. After towel-drying my hair I wanted to see if I could get through it with a comb. It was a success! Usually I have to use a huge brush before I tackle it with the comb, but I didn’t have to! Last, but not least, I dried my hair with the hair dryer. When is was finally dry, it wasn’t the least bit frizzy and definitely felt more silky and smooth compared to my typical generic hair products. The HYDRATE products are just what they say…hydrating and I would recommend them to anyone!
