Hot Dots Review & Giveaway

We accept a variety of samples and/or compensation for links, posts, and other campaigns. Refer to the bottom of the post and our site-wide disclosure policy for full details.

Educational Insights has a great promotion for Hot Dots!  Now through August 11th, you can get a free Hot Dots pen with the purchase of two Hot Dots card sets!  Not sure what Hot Dots are?  They are one of the latest, and greatest, interactive learning systems around!  Using Hot Dots is as easy as 1-2-3.

1 – Touch any of the interactive Hot Dots pens to an answer dot on one of hundreds of available Hot Dots cards for an immediate audio and visual response.

2 – Correct responses are rewarded with fun, congratulatory phrases and sounds and a glowing green light.

3 – Incorrect responses receive gentle redirection and a glowing red light.

Hot Dots cards come in several different categories including Phonics, Vocabulary, Math, Science, Reading Comprehension, and even States & Capitals!  Hot Dots also has a Jr. version for ages 3-5 with categories like the Alphabet, Shapes, Colors, Counting, and beginning Phonics.  Visit Hot Dots today to check out this amazing offer!

I was really excited to receive another educational product for my children!  My 8-year-old really struggles with reading and writing so I tried to pick categories that would help him catch up with his class.  The Laugh It Up! Vocabulary Cards were perfect for him!  They combined learning, and humor…just what he needs to keep him interested!  The Hot Dots also weren’t overwhelming for him.  He wasn’t reading pages and pages and then trying to remember everything.  He is able to do one card at a time which keeps him from getting frustrated.  The pictures and multiple choice helped him too.  One of the great things about Hot Dots is that he is able to work on it by himself if I am busy with one of my other four children!  Sometimes he brings them in the car and tries to get through a certain number of cards before we get to our destination!  I would recommend Hot Dots to any child, ages 6-10, wanting to try out a fun and exciting way of learning not so fun and exciting subjects!

Hot Dots are available on the Education Insights website and retail for $10.99 for the pen and around $9.99 for the cards.
