Everyone in my house LOVES chips but we often get in a rut of always picking the same one or two favorites and not branching out. We really enjoying getting to try a variety of Frito-Lay chips and some fun new flavors from SUNCHIPS, Tostitos, and Ruffles! Our Ruffles samples were the first to go! My husband was a huge fan of the Kickin’ Jalapeno Ranch chips that start as a potato chip and than pack in a bit of sweetness from the ranch and a kick of spice from the jalapeno flavors. I don’t typically go for really spicy food so I was more hesitant to try them, but they weren’t super spicy like I imagined and were actually really good with a subtle (but definitely there) kick of Jalapeno in every bite! Tostitos has long been among our favorite tortilla chips and the Hint of Lime variety was SO good!! I’ve always liked a bit of lime in our homemade salsa so adding the lime to the chips is perfect for store bought salsa that doesn’t have any lime to it! SUNCHIPS are such a different chip and one I always feel “better” about eating then some of the other varieties. I love that they are multigrain and yet still taste really good! SUNCHIP’s Garden Salsa variety has won me over is now my very favorite type of chips! There is so much flavor and interesting aspects to the chips that it stays interesting and delicious, even though it really is the same bag of chips! We have all really enjoyed our sampling of some great flavors added to brands we already know and love!
