When it’s too hot to go outside, why not bring the fun indoors to your living room and watch a Netflix movie?  The D-Link’s latest streaming media player, MovieNite Plus, can not only stream Netflix, but also VUDU, Pandora, YouTube, Hulu and many more.  It streams movies and television shows from Netflix and YouTube in full 1080p HD video quality.  It also carries over 130 apps and channels!  One of the other great features of this newest model is the ability to view live video from your Cloud Camera on your TV using the MyD-Link app. This allows you to keep an eye on your kids and pets even if you aren’t in the same room.  Not to be outdone by the ability to rent movies the day they are released from VUDU without leaving the comfort of your home!  The D-Link MovieNite Plus is extremely easy to set up and will have you watching your favorite shows in minutes!

I was really excited to try out the D-Link MovieNite Plus, especially since we have “movie nights” a couple times a week!  Before this device, we had a computer hooked up to our television.  We could access Netflix and Hulu though it, but it was quite complicated and my kids weren’t able to do it.  I was hoping the D-Link MovieNite Plus would be less confusing and it was!  I waited a few days to set it up because I thought it would take a while, but my kids were watching “Kickin’ It” within 10 minutes!  I didn’t even read the instructions.  I also noticed a huge difference in the clarity.  Netflix is streamed at full 1080p!  Everything we watch is crystal clear!  You are also able to stream Picasa, YouTube, and Pandora!  We have had Netflix for a few years but I always had to send my kids into our room to watch.  We are super excited to now have it on all our TVs!  My favorite feature is the easy to use remote.  It is simple and there is a “Netflix” button so my kids can even figure it out!  I also like the “Netflix for Kids” option.  I can rest assured that my kids are picking something appropriate when it is set to that option.  The MovieNite Plus was easy to set up, easy to use, and doesn’t take up hardly any space.  Plus it is affordable!  I would recommend it to anyone who loves to watch movies together as a family!

D-Link MovieNite Plus can be purchased at Walmart and retails for $59.99.  You need to have a Netflix subscription to access Netflix.

    Ok, this is an interesting product….never heard of it before and I kind of like it! I like the fact that you can stream movies from Netflix, YouTube…. especially interested in YouTube since my daughters LOVE to watch funny little animal movies, etc.
