Safeway June Dairy Ice Age Promotion

During the month of June, Safeway is hosting a great promotion with their dairy products! Watch your sales circular and the shelf tags and purchase a combined total of $40 in dairy products across all the qualifying products anytime throughout the month of June and you’ll earn a coupon voucher that can be redeemed online for two free movie tickets! Maybe your crew would love to see Ice Age: Continental Drift in theaters, the perfect summer film to enjoy with your kids!

Safeway June Dairy Month

My boys absolutely LOVE Ice Age! We’ve watched the first Ice Age over a dozen times and my boys still bust up laughing at the squirrel every single time! Plus, with 3 growing boys, we go through a lot of dairy so the June Dairy Promotion just makes sense for our family! We headed off to Safeway and ended up purchasing all $40 worth of dairy needed in just a single transaction, but you can make the purchases over several transactions throughout the month of June and you’ll still earn the voucher. Just be sure you use your Safeway shopping number each time you check out to have all qualifying purchases count towards your total!

Breakfast Casserole

I have been looking for a way to add variety into our breakfast routine and add in a recipe that would be simple to make and feed a bunch of people at once. I have been wanting to try out a breakfast casserole with my family, and finally took the step since I had all the products on hand thanks to my June Dairy purchase! Here’s the recipe, which we really enjoyed and will be making again!

Safeway Breakfast Casserole #JuneDairyMovies Melt 1/4 cup margarine and spread at the bottom of a 9″ by 13″ baking pan. Spread Simply Potatoes Hash Browns at the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle chopped vegetables including 1 small sweet onion, 1 small green pepper, 2 medium tomatoes on top of the hash browns. Add salt and pepper (to taste) and a 1/2 lb of spicy breakfast sausage, browned. Beat 12 eggs and pour on top of the vegetable/meat layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle 3 cups of Shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the casserole. Bake another 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven and let set for 5 minutes. Cut into 3″ squares and serve with a spatula. Enjoy!

Safeway #JuneDairyMovies Breakfast Casserole Recipe

We served our meal with a big cup of Orange Juice by Simply Orange and it was the perfect complement! This breakfast casserole would also be great to serve with fruit!

I hate sausage but I could use bacon, or even use hamburger and make it a dinner casserole!
    Thanks for the great idea!

Breakfast casserole is the best! I used to make it for our breakfast club at my last job.
