Kelly Edwards is the co-host and design coordinator for HGTV’s “Design on a Dime” as well as STYLE Network’s “Tacky House”. In addition to being seen weekly on television, Kelly can also be seen as the segment host and home decorating expert for Shelter Pop where she offers online visitors her trade secrets and unique approach to design. The celebrity designer has been offering dwellers with decorating dilemmas, distinctive design tips, bargain-decorating projects, and total home makeover transformations inspired by personal style and popular trends. I was able to ask Kelly a few organizing and design questions for A Mom’s Take. Here are her answers…
I was so lucky to be able to ask Kelly these questions I had about organizing! I am kind of a neat freak, but have still not been able to get a handle on the thousands of papers that come in and out of my house. Getting a small scanner is a great idea…especially since I have one and haven’t even thought of using it for that purpose! I also love the idea about turning the closet into a telephone booth! That would be perfect for their walk in closets and I even have an old Mickey Mouse phone that might still work! I was able to try out the Hot Wheels Wall Tracks and my kids have had a blast with them. Plus, clean up is a snap since it stays on the wall, not the floor! I’m pretty sure they can handle putting away one car! Here are a couple of pictures of my kids trying out the Wall Tracks. It took less than 10 minutes to set up and works way better than I thought it would! I was worried that the car would only make it over the jump maybe one in every 10 tries, but it keeps going around and around until my kids bump it or decide to start fighting over the car! I would recommend the Hot Wheels Wall Tracks to anyone who has a little extra wall space and loves the idea of not cleaning up a huge mess!
