Danze is known for their high quality shower heads, faucets and other kitchen and bathroom products. They recently debuted a new line of shower heads that use “air injection technology”. This new technique injects air into the “engine” allowing a faster flow using less water. This mixing of water and air provides three significant benefits to the user:
- Increases water velocity and shower spray intensity
- Softens the feel of the shower spray by trapping air bubbles in the water stream
- Maintain water temperature compared to “misting” shower heads, which tend to lose their warmth
Each of these shower heads is WaterSense approved in their 1.75 gpm and 2.0 gpm versions and meet strict water-saving requirements. Users save up to 20% on their water usage compared to other shower heads.
I was so excited to try out this Danze 250 shower head! We already installed a Danze shower head in our master bathroom and I absolutely love it! The only problem was my kids would never shower in their own bathroom because they liked our shower so much better! I now have my bathroom to myself again since they have their own Danze shower head. As you can see from the picture, our old shower head was put in when the house was built years ago. The water flow was very uneven and the water pressure was terrible. I didn’t think the water pressure would improve by replacing the shower head, but with the new “air injection technology”, it sprayed way harder than the old one! This is especially helpful for those of us with long hair! My daughter and I have really long hair and when we try to rinse out shampoo or conditioner in a shower with low water pressure it takes forever! With the Danze shower head it took literally half the time, plus I could easily adjust it to spray a little lower for my daughter. The other thing I love about the Danze shower heads is that they are SO easy to install! It took me less than five minutes from start to finish. All I needed was a wrench and a towel. After taking off the old shower head with the wrench, I put plumber’s tape on the threads (it was included), then I twisted on the Danze shower head as far as I could, after that I put a towel over it to tighten it so it wouldn’t scratch the polished nickel. After we went swimming all five of my kids were fighting over who got to use the new shower! I really love my Danze shower heads and would recommend them to anyone who wants a high quality shower head that will save water, is easy to install and affordable!
The Danze Polished Nickel 4″ shower head pictured can be purchased on Amazon and FaucetDirect.com. It retails for $63.
