I have never in my life had a “makeover” of any sort and haven’t had my hair cut or dyed in years! I was in desperate need of this makeover! I have always had long hair, but it was getting kind of ridiculous and I was having to move it just to sit down! Plus, it was so hard to manage and very unhealthy at the ends. I would love to have donated it, but it was too damaged and stringy. From the second I stepped into Rolf’s, I felt like a princess…an out of place princess, but still a princess! With five kids, I hardly ever have time to do my hair and get make up on. It is usually one or the other. After getting my makeover, I am MAKING time to blow dry my hair and put on my makeup each morning. It really helps my mood and my outlook on the day! After deciding to get 8 inches cut off, I kind of freaked out. I didn’t cry, but I was kind of panicking! I just kept having to tell myself how much more manageable and healthy my hair would be once I got home! I also decided to get some layers which I used to hate, but now absolutely love! Having layers really took off some of the weight, but not too much of the length. Next was the highlights. I have never had highlights before! Sad, I know. Rolf’s did such a great job and they are perfect for the summer! I am planning on going even lighter in a few weeks! Lastly was the makeup. I have had the same makeup routine for as long as I can remember and will admit it is not the most flattering thing ever. I couldn’t believe what I saw after she finished. It didn’t even look like me! My eyes were my favorite. The eyelashes and dark colors really made them lighten up and look really pretty! I have tried to recreate this look, but am not having much luck! The airbrushed foundation was also really fun and made my skin look flawless. I had a fantastic day at Rolf’s and can’t wait to go back!
