Learning Resources Letter Construction Set Review & Giveaway

We accept a variety of samples and/or compensation for links, posts, and other campaigns. Refer to the bottom of the post and our site-wide disclosure policy for full details.

Snap together color-coded pieces to build letters plus fine motor skills.

The Learning Resources Letter Construction Set contains 88 large durable pieces that, when put together, create every letter of the alphabet!  You can build uppercase and lowercase letters with the help of activity cards containing step-by-step instructions.  Your kids can practice letter recognition and pre-handwriting too!  Similar pieces are color-coded. (For example, all straight long pieces are one color, medium another, and short a third. The same is true for the curves.)  The box contains enough pieces for 4 students to simultaneously build the same letter.

With two preschool aged kids and one kindergartener, this was the perfect product to review!  My 3-year-old it just starting to be able to write and recognize his letters, so it was really fun for him to name the letter on the card and try to find the matching pieces to put it together.  My 5-year-old preschooler is starting to spell words and sound them out while reading.  She had a great time trying to spell different words and learn more about upper and lower case.  My 6-year-old was trying to spell words from her spelling list.  What a cool way to study for a spelling test!  You could have your child create all the spelling words and then spell them out on a page. I love any product that will get my kids off the couch and interested in something that will help them learn their letters and improve their spelling.  The Learning Resources Letter Construction Set is made of heavy duty letter pieces that you put together yourself and cards to help you along the way.  This would be an awesome addition to any classroom or home!

Learning Resources Letter Construction Set can be purchased on Amazon or the Learning Resources website.  It retails for $39.99.
