Singer-songwriter Kip Moore explored his own experiences of growing up in a small Georgia town and working diligently for years to achieve his musical dreams to create his MCA Nashville debut album, Up All Night. The album poetically captures those unforgettable coming-of-age moments, especially for those longing for a life beyond a small town’s borders, as well as the roller coaster of love and heartbreak at any age. He delivers these honest and deeply personal lyrics with a gravelly voice weathered by life’s detours and disappointments and strengthened by his dreams and unyielding determination.
Up All Night, which includes the hit “Somethin’ `Bout a Truck,” is infused with relentless intensity, both of passion and frustration, that is earning rave reviews from critics.
I am always looking for new music to check out and after watching the “Something ‘Bout a Truck” video I was hooked! I haven’t listened to country music in about three years because I felt like the radio stations just played the same songs over and over. I swear I knew every single song they played at one point so I changed my presets to more rock and hip-hop. After listening to the Kip Moore: Up All Night Album, I remembered how much I used to love country music! I think I just need a fresh new voice to come along with catchy songs and little bit of rock mixed in. My favorite song from the album is “Something ‘Bout a Truck”, but that is probably because I’ve listened to it about 100 times! I also really like the “Hey Pretty Girl” video and “Mary Was the Marrying Kind”. Kip Moore has an amazing voice that sucks me right into each and every song. I am so glad he helped me change my mind about country music again!
Kip Moore: Up All Night is available today on iTunes and Amazon! It retails for around $8.00.
