Mobi is always coming up with unique and innovative items that are great for babies and kids! They offer a whole line of TykeLights products to help ease the transition to bedtime. Brand new to their TykeLights line is a series of animal designed WallMates and their brand new product, AnimaLamps! My three boys all like having a bit of light to help them get to sleep or just to be able to read or play a bit longer while they fall asleep. We were able to review a WallMate Hippo nightlight which is so absolutely adorable! I plugged it in for my 18 month old and he was fascinated by the nightlight and especially loves watching the colors change when on the color changing setting. This nightlight is LED so it gives off no heat. It will automatically turn on when it’s dark and turn off when it is light out. The only down side to this nightlight was that it was easy for my little one to unplug so he would carry it around the house with him and we have to find it every night to take to bed with him.
We also received a Giraffe AnimaLamp to review. This lamp is great for my 5 year old who is too old to need a traditional night light but loves to have some light when he wants to read in bed. He also think it’s perfect for using like a flashlight under his covers! The lamp can be unstable unless you have the head portion at the right angle. My son really loves his new found freedom to read books in bed instead of going straight to sleep. All three of my kids think the lamp is really cute and love to turn on the light and adjust the brightness. The AnimaLamp is also great for a desk lamp, travel light or to function like a night light when needed. The animals are really uniquely designed in that the head pivots open and closed as much as is needed to direct the light. Then, the button one that you can just slide your finger across and you can adjust the brightness by holding your finger to the button. The lamp is charged with an included cord and can be used plugged in but will also hold its charge for 8-12 hours so your child can take the lamp with you on the go or along on adventures around your home.
