Razorpit Razor Blade Sharpener Review & Giveaway! US/Can

Razorpit is an innovative product for sharpening your razor blades! Razorpit doesn’t actually sharpen your blades, but keeps them feeling sharp by using a friction-based method to remove excess oils, hair, skin, or soap that may be left on your blade that leaves it feeling dull. Rather than tossing an old blade after just a few uses, you can keep your blade edge clean after each use to extend the life of the blade. The razorpit can keep your blade sharp and like new for up to 150 shaves!

Razorpit Review

Before (Above) and After (Below)

We received a pink and a black Razorpit to review. When it arrived I was really surprised at its texture – a soft rubber mat! I was picturing something hard and rough, more like a knife sharpening tool. I first took mine and my husbands old, ready to toss out, razor blades and attempted to clean them up. I was instantly impressed with the Razorpit! It was so easy to use with just a dab of shaving cream and a few slides of the blade. Then, you just rinse off the Razorpit and the razor with clean water and the pit then doubles as a place to safely store your razor and as a razor stand as well! Both of our dull ready for the trash blades that had seen quite a bit of use were restored quite a bit and we can easily continue using our old blades for a while longer. I was so excited to see my old blade come “back to life” though its not in perfect condition there is a world of difference in its sharpness! Using the Razorpit from day one after your first use with a new blade will certainly help to keep it clean and let you use it longer. Plus, I think Razorpit is great for traveling as well to keep the blade safely put away. Razor cartridge refills are SO expensive that this Razorpit will easily pay for itself. Check out this great YouTube video that gives an introduction to the Razorpit!

You can find Razorpit directly through their website. The Razorpit retails for $25 and comes in both pink and black! It also carries a money back guarantee for a full 60 days.
