CarMD Vehicle Health System Review & Giveaway US/Can

CarMD Vehicle Health System uses the same technology used by professional mechanics but without needing the automotive experience and expertise to understand the readouts! It can uncover hidden car problems and diagnose the check engine light for possible problems. Using CarMD can help the average driver to have the tools and information they need about their vehicles’ health to be able to make informed decisions about maintenance. CarMD not only offers a diagnostic code with what may be wrong with your car but can also help to estimate repair costs by postal code, look up safety recalls for your vehicle as well as technical service bulletins, and catch problems before they turn into expensive repairs. CarMD also has their CarMD Vehicle Health Index that provides information on common car repairs, failures and fixes, and costs that many incur from a delayed repair to further help you make your decisions for your car.

CarMD Review

I was able to use CarMD on our van and found it really easy to plug in and use. You just find the 16-pin Data Link Connector which the instructions diagram and help you locate, mine was just below my dash. Then, you put in your keys and turn the car to “on” but don’t start the engine. Then, just wait for the CarMD to beep 4 times indicating that the scan is complete and turn off the car and read your report. You can scan your report in full through your computer or call the toll-free number to hear your diagnosis over the phone once your car has already been registered on your CarMD account.

I was really glad to see that my car had a completely clean reading. I’m always overly worried about any tiny thing that I think could be wrong with my car. I love that having CarMD can give me that peace of mind that I can check on my car whenever I feel worried about a “weird noise” or a “funny feel” and no longer wonder and worry about what it may be. I also really wanted to try out CarMD as we currently have our car under warranty. Our warranty is set to expire in 20,000 miles so I want to be especially aware of any problems to be sure they are cleared up before my warranty expires. CarMD was so easy to use that I did it myself with no help from my husband! It was also simple to link up through my computer and check on any safety recalls for my make and model.

I’d love to win this for my dad – he just invested in a new car, so it would be great to help him to know the health of his car and to decipher any warning indicators that appear (which will hopefully help save him some money in the process).  Thanks!

    Dearest Janel,
I have scoured this page several times looking for the +1 button.  It has cleverly eluded me.  I do not know if this is because I am on Safari or what the problem might be.  I do notice on many blogs that I am apparently not seeing the same page the blog writers are seeing.  Could this be because of Safari or just my own shortcomings?  lolSincerely,
    Cheryl
